Featured in the Sound Patterns art show at Honfleur Gallery and hosted by Shaolin Jazz in Washington DC, “bloodsport” is a homage to the Brooklyn emcee, Biggie Smalls. In a comic-book style, “bloodsport” mashes up the iconography of hip hop’s beloved B.I.G. with the character of Chong LI (played by the legendary Bolo) from the 1988 movie classic, Bloodsport and is printed in a tabloid-size 11x17” size that is easy to matte and frame.
